Functional Skills (3748) is a new type of qualification in England which recognises and develops the essential literacy, numeracy and ICT skills necessary to 'function' in work, learning and life.
What are the qualifications about?
You can get ahead in work, education or daily life by building your English, Mathematics and ICT skills with the Functional Skills qualifications.
These qualifications are offered at many levels, letting you learn anything from the very basics to more advanced skills.
Who are they for?
The Functional Skills qualifications are for anyone who wants to develop their English, maths or ICT skills.
You don't need any prior qualifications. You might be a young learner (14-19 years old) or an adult.
We have specialist tutors who can develop your skills and offer these qualifications as part of an apprenticeship or as a stand alone qualification.
These qualifications are certified by City and Guilds and the AQA.
